the future of the Indiana podiatric profession.
The Foot Support PAC
The Foot Support PAC is a nonprofit, bipartisan fundraising committee through which podiatrists support state candidates who support podiatric medicine’s issues before the Indiana General Assembly.
The Foot Support PAC neither determines the issues to be addressed on behalf of the profession, nor lobbies on those issues. That is the role of IPMA’s Legislative Committee and Board of Trustees.
The Foot Support PAC’s role is to support candidates seeking office in the Indiana State Senate or Indiana House of Representatives. The only other legal means for such support is through contributions made directly to a candidate by an individual.
APMAPAC
The APMA Political Action Committee (APMAPAC, formerly PPAC) is a nonprofit, bipartisan fundraising committee through which podiatrists support federal candidates who champion podiatric medicine’s issues before the US Congress.
Because of the efforts of APMAPAC and its parent organization, the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the profession has gained a national presence as a political force in Washington, DC. APMAPAC currently ranks 11th in terms of contributions to Congress out of more than 100 health professional political action committees (PACs) currently registered with the Federal Election Commission to contribute to candidates.
APMAPAC neither determines the issues to be addressed on behalf of the profession, nor lobbies Congress on those issues. That is the role of APMA’s Legislative Committee, Board of Trustees, and Legislative Advocacy Department.
APMAPAC’s role is to support candidates seeking Congressional office in the US House and Senate. The only other legal means for such support is through contributions made directly to a candidate by an individual.

Contributions will be used for political purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. The recommended contribution amounts are only suggestions. You may give more or less than the suggested amounts. American Podiatric Medical Association will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount of their contribution or their decision not to contribute.
Contributions to APMAPAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes
